Relevance
The Conference is organised by the Romanian Academy (RA) - the Institute of Physical Chemistry ”Ilie Murgulescu” (IPC) and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA) under the ”CAS-ANSO Conference Programme” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions (ANSO).
The ANSO-RA-SASA Conference addresses urgent global challenges related to climate change, sustainable energy transition, and environmental resilience. By aligning with key international priorities—including the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6 - Clean water and sanitation, SDG 7 - Affordable and clean energy, and SDG 9 - Industry, innovation and infrastructure) and the EU Green Deal—the conference provides a platform for advancing innovative, science-based solutions in green energy, advanced materials, and ecosystem sustainability.
With a strong focus on the Danube–Carpathian region as a model for scalable solutions, the event fosters international collaboration across the Belt and Road regions, bridging research, policy, and industry to support sustainable and high-quality development worldwide.
